My only complaint on my costco pants were only one zipper pocket, and that there wasn't a way to tighten them without a belt.
Once wearing them though I never felt uncomfortable at all. They were like $12 on sale too.
I bought like 5 pair last March and wear them to work too.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid. If I never sold my KTM I wouldn't have went all in.

You gotta buy a stretchy belt (I like arcade belts). Keeps those stretchy pants comfy with all the position changes. I use mine skiing a lot.

I like the stretchy belt idea. At around $20 that’s not to bad.

Man they are a game changer and trust me I never thought I’d say something like that about a belt.

How often do you guys do night rides? I went riding a few days ago, it was getting pretty dark and I just saw tons of bikers starting the trail! I was surprise:eek:

I havent done a night trail ride in a long time but I gotta say, it's one of the more enjoyable things to do. Highly recommend it if you never have.

night riding is cool but decent gear is a must for full enjoyment otherwise you are constantly adjusting shit, changing batteries, and straining your eyes

I second this, and with proper air pressure. I’d rather replace a rim if I somehow managed to jack it up than carry an extra .5 lb in my rear tire.

I ran tire inserts this weekend, I'll have to comment further on how I feel about them now that I'm back home.

However I'm also running a similarly aggressive tire in the front, but much more aggressive tire in the rear. So my thoughts may be skewed. Also the Maxxis tires were just EXO casings, so they were lighter as well than the current Michelin.

    not enough.
I've been running cushcore in my enduro rig. After a while you don't notice the weight at all but the peace of mind on hard square hits in the desert is there for me. That said, the one thing I HATE about cushcore is if there ever is a problem and I need to replace the tire, it is a royal PITA to get the bead unseated and tire taken off. I've only been able to get one tire on the wheel ever. That said, I have had my eye on the tannus armor inserts, just haven't pulled the trigger.

Weight penalties and mounting issues aside, I'm really interested in trying them to see how the tires feel w/ the added sidewall support. Wondering if it can truly get the comfort of low psi w/ the increased tire support.

Check out the Tannus Tubeless inserts. Less cost and weight than Cushcore, easier install, same feel/experience. Running one in the rear and love it.

I run cush core in rig. Although I did still manage to blow up a carbon rim with them in there and at 22 psi or so at the Northstar bike park. Normal Maxxis exo casings
    Fortunately Trek warrantied it though.

I do notice the weight a bit on climbs, but to me it's worth it at the cost of a carbon rim otherwise. That and they support the sidewall a bunch and help with the ride. It really changes the feel of the bike imo, but in a good way. Wish they were lighter. I've thought about running one only in the rear

I wish. Maybe down the line. No wonder they're so expensive.
Hard to justify that kind of money on a bike that already has carbon wheels. These new 2021 Bontrager ones are supposed to better than the 2019 one I broke.
