I bought an 80% lower for my first AR-15 build. Seems kinda cliche since everyone is doing it these days, but it seems with the way things are going I might not have much time. By the way, has everyone read HR 127? Yikes!

Which slide is that? I didn’t think you could put a red dot on a Sig slide (unless it was an XL slide).

 

That is a standard P365 slide. The milling was performed by NC Engravers. Turnaround was 2 days.

Just to confirm- you can buy a standard p365 gun and an additional p365xl grip module and run the guts/slide of the standard on the XL grip? And the 15 round mags will fit both grips?

 

12 and 15 round mags will work on the xl grip module you would need these baseplates to run the 365 12 rounder in the XL because the XL doesn't have the sleeve.

Correct. My 365 is using the grip module I took off my XL. I bought a replacement grip module for my XL that had been laser stippled. The only down side of this process is that the 10 round mags for the P365 are useless. But you can sell them on ebay and spend your money on more 12 or 15 round mags.

 

Thanks for the info. What barrel are you running? Also- is there a huge difference in flat trigger performance?

 

It amazes me that people will still buy from them.
It's like the people that still think the NRA is worth sending money to. Having them on you side is like having your mother in-law defend you in divorce court...
