What was the group buy costs? I’m going to get the kit with sealed uniball upper bushings, double shear steering kit and the axles so it’ll be about $6k before coilovers.

So he assembled and welded all but the outer joints for my axles for 1100 plus shipping. I'm doing an even exchange for the shafts so he's not charging me for the new LT shafts.

All in all I'll have a ~8g in it. Complete before any install I need to find a shop/fabricator for doing/helping do the install of some of this stuff.

    LCA mounts
+4 LT (which is the most inclusive for little parts, straps, brake lines, etc.)
Double shear steering and spindle gussets
inner steering heims and aluminum tie rod
    +4 934 axles
UCA and LCA inner uniball bushing
    UCA double shear gussets
    Front air bump mounts
    Front king 2.0 air bumps
    8" king COs

you need to get a welder and get this crap on there yourself. Paying a shop to help will kill you in cost.

I go to my folks place for most everything. But can't have it torn down in their driveway for weeks. They dealt with that enough with my projects as a kid.

Might be worth it to try and source a used OEM axle. I got a minty one already pulled and on the shelf at Bruce Auto Parts in Richmond for $25 mid last year. Maybe some similar deals in your area as well

edit: oh crap nevermind, shipping to California or wherever JD fab is would probably cost an arm and a leg

He answered my question and that was that he only needs the inner tulip as a core, which I have two of. One complete oem axle and one inner tulip I carry as a “plug” for the diff if I need it. So that’ll be nice.

I scored cheap ones too from other members. It's not that bad to ship stuff there. All they really need is the cup section for the rear joint.

oh sweet, sorry if you already answered that here.

Also I stumbled across your thread here and followed on Instagram, good stuff dude! I really enjoy learning about everything, and neat to see you come from a stock truck to where it is today. Slowly working on building up my 4runner

Dumb question for OP: When I take those Kings off your hands are there going to be springs on them or nah? If not, will OMEs fit?

Yes there will be some newer 600 lb coils on them. No OME coils won't fit. King coils (and other performance coilvers) have a flat top and bottom. OME/OEM style have a flat top and little pig tail on the bottom.

You're the best buddy. I figured they wouldn't work, but wanted to verify. You're better than the Google machine.
