Right!? It was a blue DCLB and I was like "WAIT A MINUTE.." but it was an older one with the red TRD Sport sticker and no racks.
The guy I sold mine to lives in NH. About two weeks after I sold the Taco I passed him on 95 heading to hubby's house. Small world.

hey folks. given the disproportionate amount of Mainiacs on this thread, and all the conversation about weather, I thought I'd share. My sis owns an oceanfront campground "MidCoast" as they say. Near Camden. They have a 24 hour live feed on youtube looking out at the ocean. Typically it's a couple islands, a lighthouse, lobster boats and birds at a feeder. Today it's roiling seas and winds.

    upload_2021-2-2_11-15-36.jpg

If you're interested, feel free to access the feed. this purty image is a live link

    https://youtu.be/Rax84Vvn0pg

Turns out they didn't get much, more drifting than accumulation. Nobody nearly as excited as the national media. There's a lesson there....

I told everyone at work last night who wouldn't shut up about it, "it's a lot of bullshit, we're not getting all that. If we do, yay, but we won't." It's been the same exact thing as every other storm for the last three years.

Five inches of snow followed by about an inch and a half of sleet. As expected. I'm a pilot, we know weather better than the meteorologists do. Right @Tacoma Mike ?
My dumb ass was the only one that drove in to work today. I work with a bunch of friggin sallies. (I'm just salty because they're hanging out on their couches watching TV while I'm at work actually working..) Now I get to spend an hour snowblowing what I can and attempting to drive home in the shit..

    Oh yea.
We won Watkins glen few years ago. Bob said to do my pilot shit. Everyone put rain tires on. We didn’t. Started to rain pulling into the garage after the race.

    Afternoon stalkers ( :D )!

Had to venture out today. Mountain was a friggin' sloppy mess, but I didn't need 4wd. Only one car in the ditch oddly enough with all the snow drifts. My truck though is an absolute disaster, not sure when I'm gonna get to clean it up. Supposed to possibly be another storm early next week...

I walked into work with a dozen donuts and coffee, and my boss and a few others went "well fuck, if banana can make it into work, there's no excuse for anybody else!"
It's a mill wide fact that I drive the farthest of anybody to go to work each day, and that I drive a little corolla and not some big ol jacked up pickemup truck.

Hah, my current manager said that when I was still on 3rd shift. We had a pretty good snowstorm and since I live the furthest out and over a mountain nobody thought I was coming in. Not only did I make it in, I was early as usual. He said "well if Adam came in, nobody around here has an excuse!" Maybe so, but I had a Toyota 4WD soo....

I discussed snow "emergencies" a while back to my old manager and he smartassed said "well I lived in Utah and made it to work in the snow with a FWD Kia!" Same storm, same manager was over an hour late... The funny part is he just bought a brand new Nissan Frontier Pro 4x a couple weeks before. We all thought that was kinda ironic
