    I transport trucks/cars for Toyota so I was welllll aware of what I was getting into with these trucks. As for the 2020/1s being better, I personally think that they are but at the end of they day they are autos, and will have quirks.

    Krown, Absolutely the very first thing you should do and let them drill your rocker panels, pillars etc.

    Starting out with a brand new truck you are so lucky to be able to control potential rust from day one.

    This is a scare tactic;

    KROWN IT, COROSSION FREE IT, FLUID FILM IT. DO SOMETHING QUICK.

    Fluid film is an awesome product and I use that as well all the time.

    I started promoting it on TW about 10 years ago and the American owners embraced it.

    The great thing about it is it Canadian and made in Bobcaygeon Ontario.

    I believe it has lanolin derived from sheep wool in it.Another great application for fluid film is any type of lubrication such as door hinges and especially padlocks, door locks on your house in keyhole’s in vehicles.

    As you can see I’m passionate about Rust prevention and I’m still laid up with a hand injury so I went out to my truck and took some pictures an hour ago.....Keep in mind this truck is now 20 years old!

    My Tacoma came from Arizona when I got it in 2010 so it had a good start to its life. I have been very diligent with annual Krown applications and Fluid Film touch ups.

    Woah :eek: no need to show off like that. I prefer to just look at the outside and avoid underneath.

    Sometimes I spend more time underneath my truck then in my truck so I had to take this opportunity to showcase all my anal labour over the years:smokertransformer:

    At $10 a can the new Krown applicator nozzle is pretty cool for touch-ups or missed spots and you can usually get a free can out of your dealer the day you get sprayed. Fluid film is a little more costly unless you can catch it on a good sale but I believe the fellas on here who spray their own will buy it by the gallon!
