Wow, you're not that much further west than me, I must have just been lucky enough to be right on that rain line. I'm jealous!

I'm going to head out and snowblow momentarily because it does look like it's going to warm up a little, so i'm sure it's heavy anyways.

I went out to snow blow before work last night at 9 and prob had like 8-10. Came home this morning had a 2-2.5’ bank at the end of the driveway and probably an additional 6-8 in the driveway. I think we got like 14-16 total overall after the rain/mix came through.

We probably got 10-12" hard to tell with the wind.

I had a great idea! Instead of walking over my trails 100 times with snow shoes and making it hard, I would snowblow my trails.

Well, the tractors a bit bigger than it usually is with a snowblower on the back and push box on the front. Got squeezed inbetween some trees. Then started sliding down the hill....:duh:

Had to cut a couple of trees down to get out :anonymous:

Then went back to what I was supposed to be doing and a shear pin went :bananadead:

Luckily I keep a bag of random bolts and such in the tractor and found one that would fit, but not a shear bolt so I had to stop my woods explorations and just finished the driveway. Will go get some shear bolts and try the woods more tomorrow

    I wish!
Fire department I happened to stop and pull in for a minute.
They were outside and I pulled up with the tractor and asked if I could park for a minute.
They checked out my rig so I checked theirs out:thumbsup:

We got a good 14-15" of snow. Auger drive belt on my snowblower decided to give up the ghost, but I only had the walkway left to do anyways. I knew it was on it's way out cause it was smoking anytime I engaged the auger, I was just hoping it would hold for the driveway and it did. Cant really complain since I don't do anything but grease the zerks, change shear pins when needed and add gas. I've had it since 2012 and it's an early 90's snapper commercial unit so it was probably due anyways...

Shouldn't you be doing some sort of weird-ass barefoot cross-fit shoveling when it snows anyway?

Exactly. You could buy a good used compact or subcompact tractor with a loader and a blade, or a front-mount blower, for considerably less.
