If that's true then whoever wrote that article needs to be banned from writing anything ever again, what a sensationalist piece of crap

Still says OHV events are banned though, but from what I gather reading elsewhere it's only in the town of Moab. They aren't banning OHV vehicles from using the lands surrounding it.

The initial headline also said "4x4" and not OHV, so he was definitely being vague before the edits

Events being banned I don’t really care about, events bring a lot of idiots, 4x4 and SXS.
Nothings stopping a group of buddy’s from going down and cruising around.

If it keeps traffic from looking like it did when we were there then its ok by me, that was nuts. I imagine the people that live there will be happier too

Although when you live in a town supported by tourism, you gotta expect the tourists

I think a lot of that, atleast going in and out of town was the construction.

Gas station traffic is probably always screwed on weekends

Next time we should just get one of those C130s circling their air port to air drop us and our trucks onto the trails, I'll drive home from there

Jeep event canceled. I hear the town of Moab suggested canceling it.

Grand County is currently red which means no sponsored events over 250, from my understanding.

Nothing stopping a couple of buddy’s from going down

I may need to try some of these Livsn pants. Look like they would hold up.

Anyone ever heard of or dealt with "eastern catalytic"? Since I don't need CARB compliance I'd rather not spend that kinda money but I barely know anything about bosal and absolutely nothing about eastern catalytic Screenshot_20210202-121724_Chrome.jpg

Beautiful weather; Bronx is getting groomed, my girl is teaching online, and I just had some red velvet chocolate chip banana bread with my MIL

Nope, but I have wondered if the really inexpensive converters will result in showing a catalyst deficiency code sooner than the more expensive ones, because they lack more of the expensive filtering material in them? IDK

That was kinda my concern as well, I'd hate to spend 250 bucks just to spend 550 later..... but I REALLY don't want to spend 550 on non cool parts

Yeah that would suck. We can thank China for the high cost of cat converters these days (more than usual), the cost of platinum and palladium used in them has gone way up since China started imposing stricter emissions regulations on it's vehicles

Although when you look at how crazy polluted their big cities are it's probably a good thing
