I don't go off road much have a chevy LTZ crew now -Feel the limited may be a better option for me mostly on road use and snow in upstate NY. Thoughts before I take the plunge ... looking at a pearl white but have a silver and cement available also....

    Stock and staying that way
I love my 2017 Limited. I have never regretted it for a minute. You can option a sport close but you can’t get the wheels or 18” tires the Limited comes with.

It is the perfect city truck IMO.

You pay a handsome premium for the extra bells and chrome bits, but if you feel it’s the trim level for you then cheers!

Might want to read about the (potential) problems with the Toyota white paint before you decide on color.

Fwiw, I have a white ‘19 and don’t have issues.

Good luck with your search and purchase!

Do you like chrome? Lately there seems to be a lot of posts by Limited owners asking about blacking out the chrome. If not I would stick to a Sport Premium.

Looks like he us eyeing the new Wind Chill Pearl white for 2021. It would be tricoat so should not experience the flaking issues seen with Super White!

No problem. It looks wicked too. I wanted white but knew about the potential issues so I bought a Barcelona Red and then they come out with this haha.

If you want chrome with your wind chill = Limited
If you want a a scoop and a more blacked out look = Sport

Scoop + Blacked out Look > Limited

have you priced both? When I was looking, Feb of 19, a fully loaded sport was almost the same price as a Limited. But it was hard to find a fully loaded sport in the Pac NW. Most of them were missing some key upgrades.
Limited over the sport has Michelin tires, in my opinion better looking wheels, Homelink on the rearview, a lot of chrome accents, mine has a blacked out Limited wheel and Michelin tire also as a spare.
Sport will have possibly Firestone tires, hood scoop, less chrome (some painted parts instead), no Homelink, prob a steel spare wheel with any number of tires to make up a spare assembly. If you want it loaded, you may have to go Limited so you dont have to mess with trying to find a sport that has all the options you may want.
And the new Limiteds have the birds eye view and LED headlights and fog lights as standard.

My Sport premium has the LED lights and the homelink on the rear view mirror. Not sure what the safety package is you are referring to.

Like another poster mentioned above if you like the chrome go with the Limited. If you like the body color and black outs go with the Sport premium.

IMO the grill on the Sport is so much nicer than the Limited. I agree with a few of the comments here...chrome is bleh. Black it all out. Spend the money saved on some rims!

Test drive them before you decide. You'll see that they do ride differently and that could be your deciding factor. I preferred the Limited ride and I was not a fan of the hood on the sport so I went Limited.

OP it sounds like you are set on the Limited. If you don’t like the chrome, you can always go for the Limited Nightshade.

The pearl white on the Limited has a clear coat. It’s not the Super white .
