    I had my 2018 OR lifted 2”.
Now I get the vibes so I am having the ecgs driver side bushing installed.
Since I pay people to do this work, would it make any sense to just have them upgrade passenger side bearing to ecgs while they’re at it? Or does the passenger side use a different bearing that seems to fail less after lifts compared to driver side? I am just trying to reduce overall labor costs in the long run.

    cheers!

Passenger side is regular ball bearing. No idea why, but all 4wd toyotas only have them on the driver side.

    It’s a different type bearing.
The difference is the type bearing the CV axle rest in.
The passenger side doesn’t ride in a needle bearing like drives side does.

Here is the the passenger side. It’s a ball bearing type.
I wouldn’t change it, you’d only be changing it for the same type.

Basically, in short. It is because the passenger side has an extension tube bolted to the actual differential.
