No worries, you're pretty close to the 50 posts anyway, so just browse around a bit and you'll get there in no time.

I literally opened it in another tab, saw your post, and braced myself. Thank you for the warning, I'd have been so mad

I got the prototype IFS skid I made up for sale, oil filter and diff drop compatible. PM me if you are interested. I also make them custom to order if ya want!

My tube bender should be here in 3-4 weeks and then I plan on building sliders. I have the bolt-on frame plate file ready to go, just need the bender.
    I got a 2" dye set.

I will think on it - because I do know the TC skid usually hooks up to the IFS/mid skid, a la RCI
    upload_2021-2-2_16-50-2.jpg

But, it's in the same realm of buying stuff for my truck rated for more than what I want to do with a DD - what I want to do with the truck, that skid might be plenty.

I've done some dumb shit in my DD and only once hit my front skid. My mid and TC skid are still not installed because I'm too lazy to get the exhaust reroute done lol

I have a feeling my skid is stronger than the one pictured.... It's all about verticle support and playing to the metal's strength. It has mounting points for a future Mid-skid as I will be building my own. So it can have one added later.

And hey, a daily driver will still hit the rocks the same as a dedicated rig, plus be closer to the ground most likely.. just saying.

I've been wanting to make one out of aluminum if you or anyone are interested.

I'm trying to get into selling DIY welding kits for these, I have a digital design ready to go. For the price of selling a completely fabricated version it's almost not worth my time. Small oporation=higher expenses.
