@MESO @memario1214 also to make sure I don't put the cart before horse; there's no contraindication for this with the MESO V2 tail lights correct?

Will there be an option to purchase the hitch and the harness WITHOUT the S1?

I'm assuming you mean the post that I actually quoted? I wanted clarification from @memario1214 that the harnesses weren't being held back for those that purchased the hitch AND S1.

They will work with the Meso stage 1 and stage 2. The plug-n-play harness as well as the wire whip pictured with the light in Meso’s post. The p-n-p is just easier IMO.

I meant the quote where memario said he will sell everything as a combo and Meso was going to sell just the housing.
He only has a handful of harness's made so I would assume he would like to sell them with a set at least for the initial launch.

Unorthodox combination, but there’s no reason that couldn’t be a doable combo!

Ideally I would like to sell them as true combos upon initial launch, but if a one-off wants the hitch pod and the harness and either has their own S1 or something... No reason why I wouldn't sell it.

I think that would certainly be the minority in this case though.

It is indeed! I told my brother-in-law about this and how I was waiting for it to come out. I’m one of those people that is usually impossible to get a gift for because I buy what I want before someone else has the chance. So he thought he would order me the S1 since he knew I didn’t have it yet.

    Which light pattern?

And I get that too. It's not like we made it abundantly clear that there would be a combo option available until lately!

Some people have asked me why the Pod sticks out ~1” from the hitch. One reason is the light body itself is too large to fit in a 2” receiver, so it needs to come out a little. But the main reason is some vehicles have the hitch pin CLOSER to the face of the receiver, and it would have contacted the light when trying to put the pin through. I tested many vehicles and the 4 runner had the shortest length so I designed off that. It’s a balancing point of making the design look ok while maintaining space for the hitch pin.
