Lol "rapid" still took 3 days to get a result. Oh well, I got 2 extra paid days added to Thanksgiving break.

@Abeyancer do you go out to do installs for the panels you build?

Im finally installing the 2 big panels I was posting pics of around Christmas time. Severely underestimated the time its gonna take haha. 6 main parts to this machine, I was hoping to get 3 done today. Ended up calling it quits today with 1 and a half done.

Oh well. Learning lots of things I can do different next time to decrease install time.

    I have mods
Timesert for the threads. Sandwich 1/4" steel plate between the frame and the tow hook to strengthen the area for the future. Weld the plate in place for a more permanent solution.

That or just go with a piece of 3/8 plate welded in place and just tap holes in that.

That's the biggest reason I'm getting the degree so we can sell me going out for installs. Currently we rarely do them because of the liability involved on a customer's site. I hear yea about underestimating the install time though... I've done that 2 out of the 2 times I was tasked with it :pout:

Going to do this when I go back in to add a winch. For now I might leave the hook off the dissuade the use of it at all. Tap the threads to mount the ARB back.

Then I have the ARB frame end cap mod to consider.

Funny when I ordered it, I thought for a second "should I get the fold out table?"

    Glad I got it
