So I’m pretty anti-self taper and like using already existing holes and hardware to mount new things. At least in the double cab.

I think I have a good mock up of how the trans cooler is going to mount. Assuming the ARB clears it I’m good to go. Just need to get a large assortment of hardware and spacers. Worst case scenario I get a thinner trans cooler.

I truly fear the day I have to install the AC system into the flatbed. Meanwhile you’re out here installing HVAC systems in department stores, NASA, and stuff like that.

Depending on your install of the cooler, might not clear. I haven't removed the bumper since installing it but see my post here - might give you some ideas.

I ended up ordering this but God knows where it's at now... Can't believe it's coming up on 2 years.

Yeah I'm installing a radiator with no internal cooler. Going to hate myself for it because I'm riding my bike to work and traffic is more annoying on a bike. Maybe I'll mount the cooler before running any lines and see how much space the ARB gives me.

I need to do this. I was towing my boat through the mountains to get to Lake Berryessa and my transmission got so hot I could feel it on my leg. Probably take a few years off the life of that thing. My fault.

Miguel succ’d the R12 out of my 300zx. The same fittings for like, industrial chillers fits the Nissan R12 ports which is kinda funny.

Looks like R134a will be banned on 1/1/24. Do you know if a workable replacement will be available or will we be going through the same issues as we did when R12 was banned?
