@Turd Hawg sent me a good vid that shows it very well.

However there's super limited room and I actually ran into another hiccup.

When I got the arm off the flapper, I began turning/loosening. Unfortunately, the turn knuckle was on the arm super tight and with limited space, I couldn't see that it was actually backing out the arm lol so then I spent a few hours cussing and cutting up my hands and fingers unsuccessfully trying to get the arm to thread back in with the limited space available...this was Thursday, and I've been working too many hours since then to have reattempted/continued.

So yes, I'm having some minor hiccups/issues, but they really are just minor. Nothing yet that I expect will make my truck blow up or lose confidence in the kit, etc. Also I appear to have escaped the downpipe-rubbing-on-steering-shaft issue, haven't had any issues there. That's something I'd been concerned about.

Y’all will for sure get it sorted out. Kit confidence is 100% from my point of view.

Since you didn’t install the kit, if you have the time apart from what Matt is helping you with, also check over all of the hose clamps at all of the intake couplings.

Actually I did. I had a coupler coming off of the intercooler blow early on, resecured tighter and used some hairspray to keep it in place, and shortly after had another coupler blow. After that went over all couplers to ensure they were g2g. Actually had the one that blew the 2nd time keep popping off to the point where I spent about 2 hours just reattaching and testing under boost until I was confident that it wasn't going anywhere lol

I now keep a 10mm and socket wrench in my cupholder instead of just in the bed with my other stuff lol

Good deal! I had a coupler that I had forgotten to tighten once. Caused erratic boost operation. Up to ~10 then down to about 5. Thought it was W/G operation the whole time. Was a slap in my own face.

What kind of clamps does it use? Worm-gear or T-bolt?

Even with the overboosting, I'm actually really encouraged by everything else. It feels really nice to drive, the turbo whistles are lovely to hear, it picks up smoothly... :notsure:

My buddy was riding shotgun for one of the more recent pulls/logs I did for Mat, half throttle pulls, and he goes "shit, that was only 50%??" Lol

Doing the pulls in 4hi is also super nice. It just remains planted and moves out super nicely.

I wish there were some more boost videos on here!

This isn’t turbo related and I don’t have a kit, but I’ve been following this since the beginning and know you guys have been dickin around under the hood a lot. My question is, can this line be bent?

    an update

First I want to say that I hate delaying things just as much as you guys hate delays. I absolutely hate when things don't go as planned and when I have to delay things and explain why, it always feels like an excuse. We have had road blocks everywhere.
an update for everyone who is currently waiting on their kits to ship / arrive.
About a week back I mentioned that there was a delay on shipping. Each person still waiting on kits all have 1 thing in common it's our upgraded fuel pump setup.
Well originally our fuel pump setup used a Cytron based brushed motor control board / module capable of maintaining 15+ continuous amps and other useful features.

We ordered these in bulk to get working on the pumps.
Our first batch of the boards were problem free, worked great and are still working fine.
However on the second order, it was like Russian Roulette. Some worked some didn't, some were programmed backwards (high when should be low, low when should be high).

I do not know why, but like anything else going on in this crazy time, I'm assuming it's COVID related and the semiconductor shortage right now that caused this problem with quality control or someone using cheaper components.

There is no way I could have foreseen this, but I immediately put a plan into action right away. (some of you guys who have our pump controllers right now already know).
Rather than order more and *hope* their quality control is back to where it should be, cut the idea out of using *any 3rd party components.*
Unfortunately, this caused a set back in time to get them done.

The good news is the boards are better, they use a faster microcontroller, they have better expansion capability.
the new FPC is completely designed from scratch, no cytron or other "off the shelf" based on components.
    168mhz STM based MCU
30 AMP and 18 volt capable, etc.

Our new version 3 fuel pump setup is *already done*, *already in production* and *already on their way*
it will *not delay things* much longer.
For people who have fuel pump controllers, as we emailed you you'll get a new one, just swap it out and done.
I want to apologize, we had no choice but to take this route now or risk issues popping up later.

Literally every step of the way through this kit process when we relied on components from another company they have failed.

There will be no more delays after we get these boards.

I’m powermax and no pump, I’m still waiting on mine to ship. Can I buy the new controller since it hasn’t shipped?

I will verify on both of these, as my list showed the remaining were with pumps, so let me double check.

After we get and set all the pump controllers up yes
