Roads weren't bad this morning out my way. The interstate was totally clear.

All our state highways and county roads are clear. But our towns roads look like they havent been touched. But that's typical from our towns not being able to keep up with the storms.

X's 2 on the bones aching. My Amanda bought me several pair of flannel lined jeans that really help the cause.

Cold and damp is the culprit and we have both here in PA.

I would join the "people who hate snow" thread! :D :deadhorse:

After 5 fun filled and exciting snow blowing hours yesterday (+ a broken steering box on the old garden tractor...) :pout:

Today started off with the wife stuck in a drifted intersection 1/2 mile from home -- at the crest of the hill with open fields all around -- kind of like a hurricane except with snow.

I went for the rescue and started shovel her out, fortunately a farmer with an F-350 and nice v plow came along and pulled her out. Left her Subaru at the farm and took her to work.

It has been snowy. I would say, in my area, we are close to the average total for the entire winter with another 6 1/2 or 7 weeks left.

My knee usually hurts worst the day before a storm arrives. Crazy.

I felt this storm in my bones before it even hit. I'm not old by any means I'm 35. But my whole right leg has titanium rods in it. From my hip to my knee and from my knee to my ankle. And my right foot has screws and plates in it. I couldn't believe how much pain I was in the Friday before the storm hit. I was keeled over in the work van like wtf how am I in this much pain.

In the winter I usually only wear flannel lined jeans that I bought from Field & Stream a couple years ago. They stopped selling them though. Trying to find pants in a 38 waste 36 length relaxed fit is hard enough, I'd really like to find more flannel lined jeans. When I was 11 I grew 14" in a year so all of my joints are hyperextended and wearing out. I'm 42 years old, 6'8" so finding clothes in general is next to impossible most times.

@MoneyMan55 where did you get the flannel lined pants from?

I know a number of super tall people who have had back problems in addition to joint problems. It's tough being that tall I imagine. Me, I am only 6'1".

I found them at Frank's boots now located on rt 51 in Whitehall/baldwin area. Carhart brand. Not sure what they carry now but that was a few years ago. Good luck.

Senior year of high school was out playing basketball on a wet court turned for a jump shot and just collapsed on the pavement. Didnt realize at that time how bad it was. 9 surgeries on my leg and 5 more on my foot.
Funny thing is everyone that knows me thought it was from a motorcycle accident. Who knew playing basketball could f me up that bad.

Lower leg was the same break as joe theismann or however you spell his last name. Same exact break. Tib fib break with a spiral fracture from my shin down into my ankle

The hardest part was the amount of nerve damage. I had 99% nerve damage from below the knee. Or no felling at all. Recovery time was 2years before I learned how to walk again
