Yes, I am sure you can get rid of it. Mine is a little different (Tundra) but should be similar. In Setup there are several options of what and how you want the screen to display - exit information is just one of the options.

Try the little grid icon on the left; maybe that takes you to the menu.

 

I did the same when I was 12 and got the rest of the bike I was paying on for Christmas sitting in the pool table room. Ran downstairs with the bike and started working on it right away, my dad had to make me come eat dinner

Yeah played with the menu. Couldn't figure out how to take the exit info off. Your tundra and mine I think are the same.

I need to read all the books I guess to figure it out. Need a dissertation it seems!

Yes when you exit the highway - that info goes away. But when you are on highway, the silly info takes up 1/2 the screen!

Nope, I had paid all but about $50 on that bike since putting it on layaway. I got a pool cue as one of my under the tree things, so I walked into the pool table room to use it and my parents had placed the bike in there instead.

Sadly that one was stolen in 89-90 but I have one almost the exact same, just different colour and some things I changed

Figured it out. Traffic exit can't be turned off while car is stopped. Its grayed out. When driving, you can turn it off. Should be backwards.

It’s been a really good week. Not sure when fortunes will run out

anybody who knows CA DMV knows it’s a 4-5 hour long process if that

in my case, out of state dealer is doing all registration. So I have a temp plate till March.


In the meantime I did the

• Emission test yesterday - easy
• Weight master - super easy

today I went to DMV to do a VIN verification and figure would leave - and hope the selling dealer does correct paperwork and I get title and registration and plate in March

but after my vin verification was done, gentleman said - if you do application for title - we can do everything here today. Took extra 15 min and walked out with plate and registration!

total time 36 minutes!
