THIS is what keeps me awake at night this time of year.

On time I opened my garage door, and there was a mouse sitting on the cab of my m-fing truck, looking at me. Like....you were gonna need this now, were you?

Peppermint in the cowl and around the bay seems to be working but still. Jeesh....

 

It seems to be a little worse this year than normal. Helps my paycheck though

We have three in the shop now

 

All...what's a decent 3/8" torque wrench for light/occasional use? I'm finding prices from $39 - $169?

 

All depends who makes it. Seriously I have twoHarbor freight in quarter inch and three eights. Small Engine use. Craftsman is a pretty good midline

I would go ahead and get a 1/2" drive. You can always throw on a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter. That way you can a bigger one when you need it.

I'm confident I'd lose the adapter.

 

I've been liking my husky from Home Depot just fine. Double checked it with a calibrated electronic torque meter and it's dead on.

 

this is an import brand available through Amazon. I was pretty impressed with the quality. But then It's in my tool box 350 days a year. Still. Recovering machinist here who loves his Starret, old Lufkin, Brown and Sharpe...it feels well made.

We've got almost that same one at the mill. Although it's a breaker bar now... got dropped 20 feet off a crane.

 

Almost made it without blood. Was sweeping and caught it on the edge of the workbench

Pretty easy day. Got off early. Took the rig through a touchless wash with an undercarriage blast. The wife’s cookin' a nice dinner. Maybe she'll even get nekk'd tonight......fingers crossed
