I heard that there is a shop in Texas that is converting the electronic 4X4 control back to manual, lever and linkage. has anyone else heard of this. This is something I would really consider doing.

Not sure if it's an issue with the Taco, but on the 2010 Focus I'm trading in, if there is any moisture whatsoever on the windshield and/or the blades, the rubber from the blades will freeze to the windshield overnight. As a result, you have to be very careful raising them even slightly to scrape, as you'll tear the wiper blade and leave some of it stuck to the windshield.

They look nice and beefy!, also like the fact that the D rind is still usable. Can I ask how much did they cost ?, thanks

It took me literally 5 minutes. The hardest part was attaching the connectors to the fog, since its down lower and harder to get to. I only popped my hood to do the install, instead of going in through the fender liner. Forgot to install the fuse, so once I did that, it worked perfectly. Really happy with how simple it was. and it functions as it intended.

I am not opposed to the look of those, I personally would rather spend that amount of money on a TRD skid plate though as opposed to a piece of plastic for the tailgate. I think if a poll was done, we would find there are a lot of people that went from the older Ford ranger to a Tacoma because of similar styling. Many of those same people probably would have chosen a Raptor if the price was more reasonable. I love my Tacoma, but I’ll admit my mouth still drops every time I see a Raptor drive by. In the end, I think I would rather have a faux Pro than a Taco Raptor.

Here are some pics to show that similar styling from the older ranger to the 3rd gen Tacoma.

I ordered them on Amazon. Figure for half the cost of the others if they suck then they suck. I'm actually pretty impressed....

I went with the smoked lenses. They're running a 10% off coupon it looks like as well. Install was literally minutes.

I finally took off the air dam yesterday. I haven't been wanting to go out in the cold but I missed being around my Tacoma lol. Now I just need to buy the brackets to put my D-Ring Shackles on.

Well, now that is cool. That is one window I have never thought of customizing. Very well done.

3 layers of Cquartz ceramic coat by an auto shop. It was raining when I picked the truck up, and water beaded off really well. I didn't even have to use the wipers.
