I feel that. Sometime around my early 30s my libido did a 180. Takes more work than it used to lol.

 

When my wife and I first started dating, she told me she felt like sex on a daily basis was a sign of a healthy relationship and I was like...why didn't we meet 10 years ago lol. I can't keep up with that kind of pressure now haha

 

Yup. It was especially shitty cause I didn't have much of a libido even at 17

 

With that logic I've never been able to maintain a healthy relationship my entire life

 

Eh see I thought that myself; everything great, then a slow down. Everything great and easy, then a slow down. 35 now and everything's great.

One thing I kind of noticed was my diet was different from when I was active versus when I wasn't. I've been eating healthier (with the exception of eating more often too lol) versus when my libido was down and I wasn't cooking as quality of a meal living alone. That's when the ex SO would come over every now and then.

 

I don't know if anyone could TBH, not long term anyway. Of course the beginning of any relationship is different, the honeymoon phase is always filled with sex galore compared to the long haul phase. But what I've learned (and still fuck up on the regular), is that communication is key with stuff like this.

I could go full blown awake at 3am and right back to sleep as if I never got up. You get used to that in the military, and it stays with you when you've got a dog cause he likes to wake up at zero stupid
