What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Anyone gone from the stock LED fogs to the Rigid Industries Pro fogs? Are they brighter? Do they cover more or less area? Are they better?

 

I have these stiffeners and they were $95. Sometimes @Tttacodan does discounts, but you'd have to ask him.

 

Nice. So it looks like they use a 1" block for the rear (right above the passenger side top of the grille)? Wonder if it is tapered? Can you add a photo of the rear block (if that is how they lift the rear....)?

 

I think so too. Some say they can't hear a difference, guess it all depends on how good your high end hearing is. Mine sucks.

I've seen some people say they like the LED fogs better than the rigid. Wider spread. Not sure of brighter on output numbers but heard they are better for visibility. I don't have either so idk.

 

Looks good. I would guess that it doesn’t cause warranty issues so that’s a good thing.
It looks like I can see the dealer cost of the kit.

Yeah, I got mine years ago and they were even cheaper back then. People keep spending $100+ and selling used ones for $100+ shipping.... SMH

 

How’s the ride compared to the stock Sport shocks?

 

Well, I was thinking more of the styling of the hood, indented line styling running the length of the door and bed, similar fender flares etc, but hey, if all you can see on a vehicle is color and tell if it’s a truck or car, you may need to see an optometrist my friend.
I will say this, that truck had actual metal bumpers, which is totally different from the 3rd gen Tacoma, so there is that.

 

I was told mud helps it stay healthy and strong!

Really can't tell a difference, Just took the interstate home. This weekend I'm heading out to get it good and dirty. I will report back after that!
