Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Absolutely stunning work. I don't need these but I need these.

 

Just got my pivot kit finished up, aligned, and back on the road. 35" kevlars with OEM LCAs spaced all the way forward. Full bump, lock to lock, plenty of clearance to the firewall and barely touches the upper fender well. Drives great. Thanks again to JD and Harry for an awesome solution and great customer service. 37's are next.

With the stock lower arms what shocks are you running?

 

I’ve done them with 5100’s, 6100’s, kings, fox’s and even OE shocks... they all work

 

5100's. I have pics, but haven't re-figured out how to post forum pics since the pirate days. Is there an easy way on this site?

Ok that needs more of an explanation and you peaked my curiosity on that one.

 

What front bumper?

 

Have you bumped it and see if it clears? It looks like it’s going to be hard into the inner fender at full bump just behind the headlight.

 

What's the benefit of this? Weather/corrosion resistance or strength? If it's weather resistance....looks like I'm adding onto my order.

Yep, clears at full bump/lock except top of tire barely contacts the fender well. I’m sure once this gets wheeled it’ll get into a bit more. It’s a bit deceiving in the pic as the tire is slightly turned.

 

Weather/corrosion resistance... it’s done instead of paint
