That'd be cool, but no pressure. I've got spares for friends

I usually avoid FB marketplace. Do need to sell my entertainment center if anyone is in the market for a new one. It's a nice 3 shelf black tempered glass stand called the Kennedy.

Also, anyone have suggestions for real neat/interesting/spooky stories to read? Like the Dyatlov Pass Incident, Elisa Lam, Donner Party, etc?

Currently bored reading up made up stories on r/nosleep.

It's not real scary or anything, but you could do some reading on the Indus valley people or the Collapse of the Bronze age via the Sea People. Both are fascinating mysteries with a ton of evidence. Indus Valley people's scale and city building homogeny still blows my mind. Bricks... all the same size... hundreds + miles from each other and no written accounts of them actually existing.

Doesn't need to be scary. I like wild and unexplained stories.

    Will check those out.

Naval/maritime disasters are a rabbit hole unto themselves.

On a local front of you haven't looked into it, there's the Hyatt Regency Skywalk collapse. Not really eerie or unknown, but horrifying to read the details

Also look up the Nazino tragedy

@ResearchMonkee WWII Japanese Unit 731. It's not lighthearted spooky stuff, just really dark.

Thanks, dudes. Got stuff to read tomorrow at work then.

I've imagined older civilizations definitely had a visit from above for a lot of their impressive feats of construction. Water based ships were definitely taken by a reaper leviathan though.

I'm really into paranormal stories, like Elisa Lam and the Dyatlov Pass Incident. There's even a haunted house north of Kickapoo Trail I want to drive by.

My friends and I visited a couple back in highschool. Abandoned church, several abandoned houses. One abandoned house had locks on the outside of the bedrooms.

Also playing Phasmophobia, I have the record in my group of friends for most deaths...

Nah it was a residential home. Someone must've locked up their kids.
