Watching recent Mecum Auctions, 60's, 70's and even 80's trucks are bringing silly money. Let me guess, they want $25K+ for that truck?

keeping my 2018 until the wheels fall off. I am finally tired of car payments, and quite frankly i don't see anything ground breaking on the 21s.

I don't have 10,000 miles on my 2018 not ready to sell yet. Plus don't like the new colors no more blazing blue pearl

I quick search looks like it sold for around 19K.
If it's actually in the condition depicted, I don't think that's out of line.

Priced out a SXS the other day @ 26K.
I'm having a harder time swallowing that..

Not at all. That thing was in excellent shape. If anything, it was probably a pretty good deal.

In the fall of last year I traded in my 2016 TRD Sport (title in hand) with 55k on it for $30k and a tire swap onto my '20 OR

I love my 2019, but I want a 2021. I really want that power driver seat and car play.

I’m with you. Traded my 2019 for a 2020 TRD sport tech/premium. Love it. Bonus. The 2020 tranny behaves better than my 2019.

Thanks! My grandfather bought it new in 77 and I inherited it in 2000. Did the 460 swap and have been slowly restoring her up. Everything from the hood to the tailgate is brand new. Under hood, under carriage, under bed. Electrical, interior, EVERYTHING. all that’s left is a little body work and paint ☺️ Only a 22 year restoration project Way more people stop and ask me about this old tank than my fancy Taco. Nevermind the dusty engine bay hasn’t had a washing this winter just stays in the shop7964DA6D-071A-4CAB-989B-1844A11AC888.jpg

As someone with multiple Ford experiences, I would forgo any year model after about 1990.

I’m strongly considering selling my 2019 OR, currently it’s up around $2k over what I paid for it OTD. Hard to pass that up, 2 years and 25k miles and make $2k..

We really do enjoy our Tacoma, if it wasn’t for the crazy market we would keep it for a couple more years.

I can attest that the power seat is a big positive. My wife drives a 2018 and while I have not verified with measurements, it certainly feels like the 2020 seat goes further back. When I drive her truck, I slide the seat all the way back and still feel a bit cramped (I'm 6'-1"), but in my '20, I don't put the seat all the way back....it is very close, but it is not full travel. Hers has navigation so she doesn't complain too much about the Apple Car Play, mine does not have NAV so the car play is nice for getting the map up on the screen.

Prices on all used Toyotas (especiall 2015+) are through the roof. If you're considering it, now is the time.

I was looking to purchase a 2015 PreRunner with 39K miles via CarMax back in October-November. 30K OTD. We had it transported free of charge from TX. CarMax gave an OK estimate for a trade on my 09 Prius with 248K miles on it. We drove 2 hrs to the CarMax location and when we got there, we were told we could not test drive the truck because our Prius only had liability coverage (because of the high miles). We had full coverage on our other vehicles. The missus was so furious that she threatened to buy the most expensive Tacoma at a nearby dealer. Wish she didn't say that.
