No like for this, Get you some vitamin E and break them open and put the liquid on the burn and it will help it heal and provide less scaring.
But if the burn area is oozing a lot of fluid you might want to revisit the Dr.

 

My 6 years was completely volunteer work, I did not get paid for any of it. But I made a ton of Friends and helped a lot of People.

 

My best friend is a Firefighter EMT. Not jobs I could do. You all have my respect for doing them

Wouldn’t be a bad idea to get it checked. Burns can get infected easily and make things go bad.

 

Same here, volunteered at the local FD for 15 years, made a ton of friends. Got burnt out though. Chief got demanding that we should all be there for almost every call not understanding we all worked outside of the FD. Couldn’t take it anymore.

 

Ive spent a lot of time in firehouses myself, they got good sandwiches

Thanks man. I’ve kinda noticed that 6 years was about the average lifespan of a medic before burnout. Seen some before that. I think it depends where you work. High volume city services aren’t long. They just drive you into the ground shift after shift.

 

I’ve seen a lot of guys learn to cook in the fire stations. Haha

 

My dad was a professional firefighter, one time early in his career he was going to cook lasagna for supper. Mom told him just follow the directions on the box. When they went to eat it, the noodles were crunchy. He said “it didn’t say anything on the box about cooking them first”
