    Which remflex are the ones needed. Now that I’m thinking about it, if I don’t have y-pipe gaskets I’m gonna need them when I do my URD headers.

    I started out with mine mounted just like yours, but had to adjust inward for alignment with the rest of my pulleys. When and from where did you buy your hub?

    I think it is the most efficient, especially closer to sea level where you are. (Just giving you a hard time.)

    Mine is a smoothflow and I purchased a few months ago. As long as alignment is good, that's all that matters. Mine squeaks on cold mornings with a wrap mod. So maybe my alignment is off..

    I think that’s just a cold belt thing. We had a -8* morning last week and mine howled like crazy for a few min until things warmed up

    Mine's a bit older and, IIRC, came from PulleyBoys (before we discovered Nate), so the alignment is different. Was happy to buy downsized pulleys from Nate, so I could avoid PB's terrible logo engraving.
    Agreed. Mine's made a little noise on especially cold starts, but I've never had an alignment problem or unusual belt wear.

    Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
    The proficiency (efficiency) has several variables involved. I'm not sure how the S/C RPM island map relates to the system it's connected to but since we are increasing the ability of the upstream and downstream flow and heat mitigation available from aftermarket intake and exhaust parts, there should be some benefits to winding her up a bit more.
    I've been hoping a baller/ geek would put the money and time into more dyno comparisons of the Tacoma. Takers?

    But the benefit over slightly over-driving the S/C on a DD is the response benefit, as the time spent WOT to red line is limited, therefore the heat soak is minimized along with peak boost stresses.
    Here I am with a 2.825 and a 2.6 in a box...

    That's not cold, that's freezing! With that cold, do you guys ever have a hard start condition? I feel like lately in cold morning starts it has been hesitating. Once it starts up, has no problem starting again. I was wondering if too tight a belt was a contributing factor of the start up, maybe keeping it from rotating the crank. The s/c belt is kept pretty tight with a stock length belt, billdacats wrap mod and roush tensioner. I'm thinking to pop it off. But maybe I'm overthinking it.

    That would explain it. I'm sure there's minor differences but both perform the same function. Good to know it'll look different in case I help a friend if ours differs.

    The same happened to me. I just drilled through and used a normal bolt/nut and called it a day. No issues.

    If I had known about smoothflow I would have done that instead. The way you have to press the PB and in a way guess the right spot is annoying. I pressed it pretty good but still ended up shimming the idlers below it.
