i am 27. Investing since 22 or so once I got out of college. “Playing” really just started this last year, I dabbled a bit with robinhood a few years back but actually started this year around the summer. Goal is retiring or semi retiring around 50-55.

however many years that is I’m too lazy. About 20-25 years I still have left.

Don’t get greedy either. Take the $15 or $20 profit. Spikes can happen at any time and ruin everything. Also you buy 5, sell back 4 that cover the cost of all 5 and gamble the last one for free.

 

I have not been on RC, only princess and celebrity. But, I love the cruises... mostly because I love the food! Visiting new places is cool too. And, the balconies... since I live in CO, it is nice to chill on a balcony overlooking the ocean.. and eat.. and eat, lol

 

For the right price. It's been a fun ride and we might still get lucky.

 

I have an acorns account, don't really put a huge chunk in ($5 a month, and then any roundups with no multipliers). How I have it is it tracks my credit card (which I try to run eveyrthing through and always pay off each month for rewards), and then when it gets $5 of roundups, it takes it out of my checking account. I try to keep my checking account balance low (bulk of liquid funds are in a "high" interest savings account), but I track pretty tightly with quicken and know my minimum balance 90 days out. Acorns also partners with various online retailers and you can get free money through them. Places like ebay and walmart. If you do go this route, get the chrome extension for acorns... I bought some flyfishign stuff on fishusa and they partnered with acorns and I got a little kickback. I just got a dog, and my first order with chewy paid $10 into acorns... rover paid $8 after my first dog sitting. but most is something like 0.5 to 1% of purchases back into acorns.

It's a nice way to set aside money and have it work for you with minimal input.
