Anyway...nice score today. $99 total of ammo! I could only buy 1 box each so wife stepped in to help! Note actual receipt for 1 transaction.

 

You see, what had happened was....well, the details arent important. The truck won.

 

Was at Cabelas in Gville and they were empty same as Rural King in Helltown.

 

Took the proactive step of gassing the truck before work tonight, just to find both low beam headlights out. Ugh. Sounds like a fuse to me. Nope. Both low beams out at the same time. First time for me. Thankfully, I kept the H11's from the fog light swap and avoided a late run to something that might be open. Still need to get the gas cause I won't make it home. Maybe the wifes car?

If you head that way on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon let me know. I'll head over and meet ya. If your up to the drive, we could check out Bonnie Blue smoke house and bakery. Yummy Pig in Leesburg is also worthy of a visit (or 10).

 

I don't bother going to those places anymore.....Greentop and the military exchanges only.

Did they close the place on Catoctin? Lat time I was by there it was still signed as theirs, seating and smoker were still out front. I knew they had the place on Market, but I thought they kept the other one for sit down dining.

 

Isn't it AT LEAST an hour to go anywhere to anywhere in Fairfax county?

 

They vacated Catoctin, I believe early last year, and I think they've been exclusively on W Market Street since March or April. I remember them opening up just to get shutdown because of Covid and then their re-opening sometime in April.

They're supposed to be closed for at least 6 months because of the fire!

 

Yeah, definitely. I go out to Harpers Ferry about once a week so I'm always going by Purcellville. Will hit you up the next time I'm out that way on a weekend.

Just got my inspection done and passed with no problem. This will be my go-to from now on.

 

Anyone camping the weekend after the super bowl? I'm thinking of doing old shoe creek.
