My Fox 2.5s look pretty awful half way into their 2nd Midwest winter and I’m a fluid film user.....my frame and underbits have faired much better. No issues otherwise though, FWIW

Tough area to keep clean, and the film doesn’t last long in those areas....wool wax would prolly be better but I think it’s the nature of the beast

Have you had Kings before for comparison?

You said not a "tremendous" amount; it sounds like it would help in some way then. I know it won't remove the need for a sway bar but will it make a noticeable difference?

Both shock brands will rust bc they have steel bodies. In the near future (hopefully) Fox is moving to an aluminum body coilover which will keep them from rusting. Fox also has better piston rods which will last through more abuse than Kings... like we discuss in that article I posted a link to. Stiffening up compression will do something, but it's controlled more with rebound, not something you can adjust manually on these shocks.

Elka for better resistance to rust.

I'm planning to coat my Fox rears (when they finally get here from Accutune:boink:) with plastidip to deter theft. I wonder if that will help prevent rust.

I literally did this on Monday-Tuesday. Installed 2.5 Radflo's with adjustable resi and 700 pd spring. Removed the sway bar, set the stiffness to maximum and I cannot tell the difference driving without the sway bar.

Sway bars only really come into play during extreme maneuvers, like swerving for something on the road at highway speeds. Doubt you'd ever notice it in normal driving, regardless of shocks

Totally disagree, if I set them on soft and drive straight down the highway at speed, I feel a little sway or rock, it is slight, but there. When I exit the highway, again on soft, the lean is incredible. Adjusters to hard, no sway..... Just my experience this week with the new Radflo's and sway bar delete.
