You can keep stock inner fenders with 37s I think, but 40s would require building a custom support structure for the battery, fusebox, etc. Maybe build an engine cage and hang the parts off that :stirthepot:

the first cut is always the hardest to make. once you get over cutting a piece of metal that is your cab mount or any permanent modification; it all goes away

    ummm .....ya.
I was going to go with the TRD pro reps in bronze but could only find them in the states from FSW wheels in San Diego...so buy the time I got them up here id be into about 1600 plus brokerage and duties. I'd get them shipped to my address it Pt Huron but the borders are closed...so I couldn't pick them up and I can't get tires there either.
I went with Motegi as they are pretty light and are very similar to the Konig 6 shooters which i love and at half the price.
These are also 8.5 inches wide so if I go with a 285 I guess I'll start cutting..its the tire I want so its what I gotta do I guess.

I was looking at those Motegi wheels a couple weeks ago, I'm excited to see how they look on your truck!

Thinking about the design of my rear bumper that I'm going to make. Is there a pro/con to using the bumper as a holding tank for air? Instead of having a tank mounted elsewhere. Might as well get 2 birds stoned at once as Ricky would say

Lots of people do that. You just have to ensure it is designed in a way that the steel cannot puncture (for obvious reasons) and that you have a drain so it doesn’t rust. The drain can be up high I guess so it doesn’t get sheared off on a rock (depending on use) and then pressurize tank to blow out fluid.

people also do this in their sliders as well.

I'm thinking a 4x6 rectangular tube. Idk how much air it would hold but its gotta be better then nothing
