Holy GM built a Tacoma... That's what this Frontier looks like to me.

Kinda looks like a cross between a GMC Canyon and a Tacoma.

    Nice take. It does.

I sort of like the look of the twins. Mostly the profile. For whatever reason, most all GMCs always looked good. Well, except for the later 2k Yukons.

Hopefully, this look helps keep the non-USDM Ranger designs at bay.

Just watched the Nissan live reveal - has a lot of similar ques visually to 3rd gen Taco & F150.
I wonder if the market and support will take off a little better with that new generation of Frontier.

My friend has a 2017 Pro-4X access cab and he's always bummed out about the total lack of following that truck has in comparison to the Tacoma.

I really did consider one of these a few months back when I was buying. A new one for same as a 33k mile taco? But the outdated interior was the deal breaker. There's honestly a chance I would've chose that over the taco depending on price. Then again, me and my family never buy the first year of a new generation.

Looks like an F-150 hate-fucked a Tacoma, and the offspring married a Ranger.

    Meh.

    Like the design.
Will wait to to see the specs on the dimensions and turning radius.
Hope they kept the more upright seating position compared to the Tacoma.

Bigger engine, less towing than even the tacoma. :notsure:

I do like the interior better than the older model. Not super, but better.

Oh my god it looks like an off brand taco.
Kinda shameless on Nissan's part. It even has the fat lower lip/catfish lip thing up front and those wheels look just like TRD Offroad wheels smfh

    edit:
And the head lights look like a Ford

Yowza this is kind of cringe

    Nothing yet, lift coming soon!
I don't get what they are trying to do here. Why would you make a new vehicle that starts off life as demonstrably worse than the competition? what does it offer, what makes it special? Just being new might work for a year, but I don't get it. Swing and a miss IMO

That looks really good, especially compared to what the current one looks like. If the street price is still $3k+ less than a Tacoma, they will sell a ton of them.
