I'm pretty sure it was the best Alfredo I've ever had lol.

Funny how barbecuing stuff makes it better lol.

So my flag ship from 1860 ish.
Notice the gate marks on the inside of the lid and bottom of the pot, from the mold being poured. Also the number 7 shapes where the handle or bale is.
Ive looked for an otger BALTO and havent found one complete. I've had this guy for almost twenty years. Bought it at a yard sale for 10 bucks. I have had many look at it for an insurance quote but never have a real estimate. I really want to know.

I don't know as I'd bother insuring it. A quick google seems to indicate selling prices ranging from $20 to $100 (I did find an old thread about somebody asking $200 but the thread mostly consisted of how it was overpriced)

Was given 4 rusty Wagners over the holidays. Will have to post pics of my first restoration. 3/4 look great. The fourth may be a goner...

Nice. As long as no cracks or holes, and not (too warped). Pits on the back side don't ruin a good pan. Just strip, clean and season.

    Can't wait for PICS!!!

My griddle is pitted on the reverse, smoother than smooth on the top. Works like a dream

    Well, yeah, that's fair.
I always strip & reseason my CI when I get it, and since then it's seen a fair bit of use.

Wow - let us know, pictures step by step. I would love to see that cutter vs. say 60-80 grit on a sander. Very cool though!!

I just found my lodge grill pan. It needs some work.

I used it all the time years ago while in an apartment for steaks. Aside from the smoke, they were good off of it.
