The NHLs more fun when the Whales fall back to .500

 

I hate the Leafs , I hate their fans , I hate the obsessive coverage of them by CBC and Sportsnet but I will admit that they are a half decent team and with the current North Division as it is this year , if the Canucks can't somehow manage to stop giving opposing teams endless giveaway breakaways and powerplays they will get destroyed . If the Canucks can't manage to get a split of points in the next 3 games I think its possible they may not win the Stanley Cup this year

 

Tony Deangelo. How does one screw up a promising career as hard as he did? The dude was set for life and now, well, I'd be surprised if he plays another game. He'll have his cool ten million, but he could of quadrupled that and possibly won a Norris some day if he had of just shut up and played hockey.

 

My god the Canucks are gas cans this year. Leafs even look sloppy tonight and it's coast mode. Demko looks weak as well

 

I just tuned in. My god. What happened? At least old man Spezza got the hat trick I see.

 

I will say it's looking more and more like losing Markstrom was a bad move. I know they had to do it to keep the kids in a year or two but watching this team it's pretty clear solid goaltending really helped them a lot last year.

 

The worst. I thought it was dumb at the time but not this bad

 

All three goals totally earned too. Best 4th line yet. Old Pecan has played great too

 

Yeah , Markstrom in the line up would have stopped the endless giveaways by the defence and forwards

 

how were they going to match what he got in Calgary ? Trade the rest of the team ?

 

Move Myers. Buy someone out. Anything but throw the season away

Joseph with a beauty for his first NHL goal. Unfortunately, the Pens gave it right back. Currently 2-1, Isles. Matheson hasn't played in over 3 weeks so, I'll give him some slack, but he sure is playing sloppy right now.

 

Watching the Canucks this season feels like water boarding myself for 3 hours at a time

Murray seems like he has lost what ever touch he had a few year ago. If it makes you feel any better, his replacement in Pittsburgh, Jarry has been just about as big a flop so far.

 

Pretty crazy how years later and it seems like giving away MAF was a disaster
