Cheap Bumpers on eBay!!

I'm a little late to the party but how do I get it for that price? I wouldn't mind a drive. These bumpers are now $569+tax on ebay.

 

Bought used locally a long time ago. Back then it was like $400 or $450 shipped.

 

The price will go up and down depending on the price of Steel. $549-569 looks like the going rate now on eBay for them. I saw it for $518 but this is the non-winch style.

 

Do we have any members selling their bumper? I’m interested in picking up a set.

 

Can you link the aftermarket skid plate that works with this ? Thank you guys for the info

Are you saying you can use the Trd skid plate with the eBay bumper ?

 

Mine was the stock skid plate SR5.

 

My stock skid plate works with this bumper as well. Had to add a couple of spacers on the rear bolts of the skid plate to make it work though.

 

How’s your 4banger liking the 270 pounds? I was thinking I wouldn’t want one on mine because of the extra weight

 

TRD plate ? Thanks for the info guys full sending this bumper atleast. Maybe upgrade my TRD plate cause I have had to bend it back in place once lol

 

I got lucky n scored an all pro local...fits perfect, was worried with my fumoto drain plug, not anymore

 

the support are in the way, I tried too with my stock skid plate and the trd. It might work if you take out those 2 bars

 

Is the valance bracket supposed to be provided with the eBay bumper ? Decide that I have everything else and for the price this bumper is awesome. I do basic off roading and some rock climbing and this will forsure be better then the plastic Stock bumper

 

You shouldn't need that. You should be able to just undo the two bolts for sway bar, then slide the piece of bumper in there, and put the bolts back through using the existing holes (if i can recall my install correctly)

Anyone notice that the bumpers arent on ebay anymore? Theres dv8 branded bumpers on ebay now that uses the same photos except the background is blacked out now and its listed for $1k now

They're sold/imported/marketed by DV8. In my "packing list" envelope, I had stickers with their logo. I believe I may have been in the last round of the original design (not the gaudy multi-piece bumpers).

I'm no longer a fan of this bumper. Hit a good size rock or VERY dense chunk of clay while wheeling and it tweaked the entire front end, frame included, causing the bumper to twist upward at the ends. Impact was right under/into one of the frame horn mounts. The entire lower section of the bumper is proper fucked, likely making my skids tough, or impossible, to put back on when I decide to struggle taking them off next.
I'm just glad the airbag didn't pop!
