Can some one help? I installed these led headlights and I think the hi and lo is reversed. The picture with all the lights on is the hi beam and the other picture is the lo beam. I only ask because I keep getting flashed at night.

Yup. They're swapped. And I think I read something about the retrofit harness having that issue.

Actually I just answered my own question. the hint here was matching the blue and yellow wires on the passenger side. I had to turn the plug around the only thing is the plug doesn’t snap in.
Here’s pictures of how it should look in case anyone has a similar issue. First two pics are driver side second two are passenger.

Yep, TRS pinned wrong, others have swapped those. It's not a difficult task to swap, just need a small screwdriver. And say a few curse words their way.

Mike's harness is color matched and snaptastic.

It is worth noting that I believe Toyota does high and low beams opposite as far as polarity in what is basically the same connector though H11 has the extra tab that H9 doesn't have. I think the idea is to streamline assembly at the factory where someone might put an H11 in the H9 connector by mistake if they didn't do it that way? I can't come up with any good reason. Polarity doesn't matter on halogen so they can do this. So, it's kinda like f Toyota and TRS but kudos to Mike for attention to detail.

Agreed. But one day we shall have headlight conversion + dimmed sequential grille light combo harness. Call it TotalHeads? :)

You only think that was the last headlight conversion harness you'll ever buy today. Just you wait... :) :) :)

Buy Mikes harness! Way better price, nicer and no issues that I’m aware of. I had mine from him in less than a week.

I asked TRS if they could swap the harness pins before i purchased and they said no but i could do it my self. I decided on mike's harness and have no regrets. Harness is top notch and color coded to factory plugs. Still my favorite mod so far!

I don't get it, it is obviously a flaw in the wiring. Wouldn't that mean they are knowingly selling a faulty product?

Had the custom 2020 LED headlights installed on my 2017, while truck was getting a touchup. Didn't realize how bad the projector HLs were until now. Thanks Kevin.

So for anyone interested, I have two of Mike's LED headlight harnesses.

One that works with the Tacoma headlights with the LED DRL and one that works without the DRL.

Ordered both, one for my 2019 Sport and one for my daughters SR5.

We both started having fuel pump issues before parts were available and traded our trucks.

I bought a 2021 TRD OR in October, it has the LED headlight package.

So to anyone wanting a Mike harness, all I need is $15.00 to mail them to you.

They should to go to someone needing them instead of sitting in my garage.

PM if interested in either or both.
