Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

All good over here. Got the kiddo's results yesterday afternoon, negative of course, so the Mrs was allowed to go to school today so she could teach. Kiddo will be going to school on Monday, so hopefully next week will be back to "normal".

Just another day, or week, in the life of me.

 

Glad to hear things are on the upswing!

 

Well... Sort of.

Mrs had car trouble yesterday afternoon when running and errand, so she had to drop it off at the dealership (since it should still be covered by some warranty). Something with turning the wheel and making noise, and she said there was a oil under the car. And she said it was smoking a little, coming from under the hood. So she had her dad drop her off at work this morning. Waiting to hear from her, once she hears from the dealership about what's going on.

 

Well they are talking about another round of stimulus , maybe use it for a down payment

 

The shit show never ends.

 

Some good news at least.

 

People ALWAYS say don't get that warranty.


I've bought it on all my new cars and USED it on all my new cars.

It'll be an even better start to the weekend when my favorite soccer team from back home in Portugal wins this afternoon!

 

Well the Tacoma is in the shop getting the latest process to control the frame rust issue.

I'm assuming the frame passed as they called to say the frame is on the drying part of the frame then the spray part .
They indicated that the truck is back to me on Monday.

In true dealership fashion they said I need four new tires, which I do and I also need front brakes, I passed on on both as I want to pick my tires myself and I can do my own brakes.
Anyway they gave me a new 2021 Tacoma SR5 as courtesy only 150 miles.

It's nice but not at this time .

Well... I did dig into something like that a while back. According to what I got, which my father agreed with and believed based on what he remembers from his old aunts and uncles, we are of Arabic descent at some point.
