I take it that the door caps are to keep fingernail scratches off of the bowl behind the handle, right? Where did you source them?

    Correct!
My 2018 is scratched to death. Of course that I had to put the keys in daily

I sourced them in classifieds here

I just wish they were a bit longer (going higher and lower ) more

With smart Auto Unlock on door handle - should be less damage

Yeah, surely it helps with fingernail scratches. However, you say you plan to keep the truck a long time...as you age you will not be able to see the scratches. Considering I drive my truck all over our property, down small trails by the river, I KNOW I must have tons of scratches...BUT to me there are NONE  There are a FEW advantages to getting old...I'm sure there are more, but my memory has faded.

body scratches or pin stripes don’t bother me. There will be plenty of those from the trees

however nail scratches for me on the door handle area seems to bother me

    older I get - weirder I get

I put those on my 2020 Tacoma - loved them so much I ordered a set for my wife's Subaru Outback and even modified a set on my 96 BMW Z3. They work really well.

It sounds like you are really enjoying your new truck. That is awesome!!

yeah - the getting weirder won't stop...fortunately, as you age you will notice a significant correlation between getting weirder and the give a darn factor.

    They're super bright.
Unfortunately, that is the downside to this popular mod. Had to wait three rounds of the drop before I was able to grab one.

They are definitely worth the wait and install time/effort! I remember reading something a few weeks ago that there might be a decent size restock of @MESO items this month, but don't hold me to that.
