I like them, but when I got them, the inner sleeve seems to be a piece of copper tube.. so Im not sure how that plays out. I dont have any issues so far.

I really like this mount. I used to have the suction cup mount and it drove me nuts, sliding off with different temps.

    Be safe...

Wanted the front end to match the rear? Sorry, couldn't resist. Hopefully the damage isn't too bad.

Replaced the original pads/rotors with PowerStop K137 kit. I'm aware of the dislike for drilled rotors on here and I'll be sure to keep an eye out for cracking. Just wanted something cheap and "a little better than stock" due to all the armor weight I've added. I'd definitely say it feels like it brakes better, but it's not a night and day difference. Best part about it is that it got rid of that super obnoxious pad slap "TING!" noise every time I reversed. Next stop greasing my creaking Dakar leaf springs!

I've had nothing but good from PowerStop's drilled and slotted rotors. I replaced the rotors to this on my 2014 and 2003 Tacoma at home. My 2014 has had it for about 2 years now and about 20k miles on them. No issues with anything.
With the stock rotors, both trucks had brake shudder on deceleration. The new rotors fixed that for both.
I did make sure to do the break-in procedure though.

What is the benefit of the TC over the stock LCA? I might have a bad LCA bearing so looking to replace it. I have the TC UCAs and I love them, just wondering if there is a difference in the LCA. Thanks

it wont be long until its back haha I replaced mine with stoptech slotted rotors and stoptech pads to help with braking and hill descents. The brakes not clacking lasted about 3 months before they started making noise again. These pads are floating pads so they will eventually start making noise again. Sadly

As did I. Had to go to a friends house since he's out in the country and I can't exactly be slamming my brakes repeatedly in a crowded residential area at 45 mph haha. Glad to hear yours are holding up nicely!

Its so much more beefier/reinforced, greasable, and a uniball instead of a ball joint for more articulation

I have RCI LCA skids on my stock lower control arms. Would I be able to install them on the TC LCA as well?

No. There are no places to put a bolt through. I think Dirt King makes a skid plate for theirs

@the_bluetaco David is right in saying this. I have the OEM lower control arms with skids on my Tacoma for a number of years and then moved up to the dirt King lower control arms. They are extremely beefy just like the total chaos lower control arms but they aren't made from chrome Molly steel ( I do not see myself needing anything made from chrome Moly steel due to me not doing any desert racing). the reason I chose the jerking ones over the total chaos ones were particularly due to the ball joint. I did not want the unit ball ball joint due to me living in the Northeast and the salt belt knowing that it would be a absolute pain to keep them from rusting. For a person that lives in Arizona/Texas/any place in the South that doesn't see snow, the total chaos lower control arms are ideal. If you are going to have to deal with road salt or any type of snowy conditions, I highly recommend the jerking lower control arms. They are agreeable as well and they come with a quarter-inch aluminum skid plate that is removable on the bottom of them. they are also designed to give you about an inch more clearance in the front. they come with Delrin bushings and greaseable Moog ball joints. They are also about $500 cheaper than the total chaos ones.
