You talking about the OEM Pro headlights from the 2020/21 models?

    AlphaRex Projectors covered here:
    AlphaRex reflector output shown here:
Needless to say output performance and pattern on both AphaRex products is awful and not a legitimate headlight product. They are just relabeled poor quality Vland headlights from China Alibaba, you can buy them direct yourself and cut out the middle man. By comparison the OEM LEDs are the highest performing lights available (even better than Morimoto Gen1, which is also a decent upgrade). The OEM LEDs have excellent beam pattern and highest output intensity as one would expect from a quality automotive manufacture, as shown: Here, here and here. So I'd look at OEM LED or the new Morimoto Gen2s (which I have but still need to test). But definitely stay away from the AlphaRex aka cheap China Vland.

Is there a way to to put all the extra they valued your other parts towards a bumper if you just get oem headlights and no intake and you buy another fake TRD pro grill?

Too many to list. I’m lazy
I’ve heard the same things about the alpha Rex being crap.

I have the Morimoto XB’s if you want a real world impression of them.

Yes, I could essentially just buy another grille for $100, headlights for ~$200-$250, and intake for less than $150 probably. Then get all the difference in money back as a check. I messaged the guy about the bumper yesterday and told him I didn't wanna keep holding him up though cause it looked like he was getting some serious interest for it from people closer to him...but you're putting the idea back in my head now lol. Getting that bumper and done would be a better value than the upgrades I could do myself later like the headlights and intake

I've seen yours in pics plenty on IG lol, but haven't seen any in person at night yet honestly. Heard amazing things, especially for the 2nd gens. I would go with OEM if they just didn't cost an arm and a leg

This was mine from Monday. Mine seems to feel fine and I didn't do anything to the rear of mine so I assume it was this before also.

Make sure your Ubolts are nice and tight. I think it the spec sheets they say to torque down to 37 ft/lbs but that is a misprint and they should be torqued to much higher. Probably more like 85-90 ft/lbs

Also, since you lifted the rear you may have a drive line vibration b/c you're driveshaft is now at a different angle.

i will try tightening the u bolts. the vibration is really like hearing and feeling like my back right tire is going over a rumble strip

Loose u bolts could cause that sensation. Also drive line vibration could make that feeling. Also check to make sure all your lug nuts are torqued down too so you can rule out wheel wobble from loose lugs.

I don't think i've ever had to use locktite on a ubolt nut but I guess it can't hurt.

I say build you a set of lights and if they dont come in in time you can borrow my stock set. I have these built and really love them. Kept the stock projects so I can keep my leds.

Jokes aside, to follow up, you can outrun a poorly designed LED replacement headlight bulb at 60 mph on a dark highway. So unless the truck is strictly a mall crawler, it is a real issue.

And you set the bar way too low, my Tacoma could pull the rear end free at high way speeds. Just because it is a truck doesn't mean it has to be slow.
