You say not actual fires, but we did have a bearing on an idler shaft puke last night, and due to it being buried in bark and sawdust under a two foot high deck, we didn't notice until the smoke started rolling. Thankfully we kept it to small flames and embers, then hauled the shaft and bearings out and did a quick bearing swap and put it back in. No pics of the carnage due to limited space and time on that one.

As for the melty motor, we determined water ingress past the peckerhead from wet sawdust and cleanup crews not paying attention. It took out the front bearing, shaft wore an egg shape in the front housing and allowed the courtship to begin until the final match was made.

Very interesting that when Fed-EX ground says against the Door it really means thrown in the middle of the drive way

I really wish I knew before driving over the Coffee maker that came from Walmart nothing some epoxy could not fix.

Well my other package is floating around some where in the USPS system coming from Hudson Ohio

Got Stuck 4 times in 50' trying to get up the driveway I quit before breaking anything in the old days I would just use the winch but the legs don`t work wading through the deep snow

Wife talked with surgeon today and is scheduled for surgery the 17th. They are taking 1/2 of her thyroid out. They will do test and see if it’s cancer and may have to go back for the other half at some point.
