I hate having to pull the skids and clean the engine and front diff and transmission every time i get in the mud. Its too much damn work. I try to avoid mud at all costs. Mainly mudholes and water lol.

Stony is a mud pitt man, chocc more rocky and less muddy. You cant go anywhere at stony that doesnt have mud.

yeah, you are right there. Guess that might be part of the appeal to me. I grew up mud and trail riding. we didn't have much rocks back home. I love playing in the mud as long as it ain't a mud lake.

Hard to explain but everytime I go to stony it’s horrible to get all the mud out from my undercarriage. Chocc I’ve never had that issue

Most steel cases are coated for rust prevention. They're a lot dirtier than brass. I've never run steel, but I would in a pinch. People tend to read the worst on the web and decide steel cases will destroy your guns

I run only steel, haven’t had any issues with it except it being real dirty lol Even if what people say is true about destroying your gun, with the money I save, I could buy a new extractor, barrel, or even a brand new gun and have money left over:D

I honestly have no experience with steel, but not opposed to it. I just prefer brass the same way I prefer the ARB bumper. Will others work? Of course.........just my personal choice.

This also explains my persistent wet floorboard. I’m now convinced it is gear oil. Not much, but now I know why it won’t dry out haha. Seems like a lot of gear oil to be spewing out of the diff breather, but then again it wouldn’t take very much to make a mess.

Look I don't care where you go in AL ya'll got some of the worst mud out there. I swear I still have some from Morris Mtn 2 yrs ago. IDK what it is in your mud but it's worse than ours for sure for hanging around.

Just getting settled in at work. More and more, I'm considering going days at the new Auburn ER in June. If they will let me work Mon-Thur, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna take it. I'm just starting to get burnt out. I think I need a change.
