Gah, one of the things I hate more than anything is having to install more components in the field.. that's why I've gotten into the habit of filling voids with full length DIN.. unless the customer specifically says they need the blank space for possible backpan mounted shit.

Glad you've got everything else figured out and you in the home stretch.

Are you gunna need to make room for more I/O cards for the new PLC?

Meh. I’m trying to work with what I have. I’m going off the manual hub swap thread but can’t figure out what kind of transfer case I have so I know which step to follow.
Don’t know why I didn’t think of that before... Thanks for that. I find myself going through watched threads but that still takes a lot of time.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this gives the previous titled owner the chance to get their truck back for free right?

Its a Compactlogix so pretty small as is, and I think were gonna have a few extra IO cards, but our PLC rep said it *should* fit in the same spot as the rack Ive got in there based on the pictures. Heres hoping.

That's why a bonding company will require the state or local police to run a VIN check to verify the vehicle is not stolen. Also, a bonding company should check for any outstanding liens. Getting a bill of sale from the seller that transfers ownership, that is another level of protection. Some states will issue a Bill of Sale title in the event the title has been destroyed or is unavailable.

I had to get a bonded title for a Subaru that I bought a few years ago. It's a hassle but a way to get a vehicle licensed without a title. The title bond covered the title for 3 years. After that, the bond is released.
