Was thinking of purchasing this for my 2013 Tacoma but wanted to see if anyone on here had any experience with this kit? Recommendations? Currently have a completely stock Tacoma Prerunner SR5 2WD.

 

Same truck, I put the supreme 3.5 inch spacers on the front but then had to add a leaf in the back to level it. Love the look, tires look a little small now and ride is a little more stiff but not too noticeable

 

thats cheap for stuff with supreme logo on it. lol

 

It will lift your truck, 99% of the lifted trucks on the road have a kit like that. However they are not recommended by people on tacoma world much

 

they are fine if you dont want your suspension to do anything. If you want to wheel other than mud, then id recommend against these. Now if you just want looks, and dont give a crap about anything else, go for it. But if there is ANY chance you may wheel, get something else

 

Yeah just want it for looks for now until I can afford to put a suspension lift on it. Not going to take it off roading or anything.

 

I had this exact kit on my 12. Worked perfect. Had it in for 2 years without an issue. Go for it.

 

Appreciate it, I ordered right now. I was just worried about it doing damage to ball joints or suspension on my truck.

Not yet! I got hit with a deployment but I'll be back in July hopefully and actually thinking about investing in a suspension lift instead...

 

I have this same kit with 5100’s all around. It’s great for looks but don’t go off-road. I’m looking to switch out my stock coil springs to help stiffen my front end. Any recommendations before I settle for the ome 885’s? My truck is for street use only

 

If the ome 885s provide any lift you can’t run them with the spacer lift installed FYI.

 

If that's your plan then that's a good choice for you... not recommended for offroad but fine and quick for your intentions. My .02

 

I would never recommend a spacer lift. If you are on the fence I'd go with 5100's or anything over a spacer lift. IMO.

 

Yikes. I was under the impression that if I set the billies to the 0 setting I’d be okay?

 

You can run the 885x coils on the 5100s on the bottom perch only and not use the spacer.

 

Wow so I actually don’t need my spacers anymore? I need 3” to clear 33” tires. (Sorry for the dumb questions been trying to get this cleared up for a while)

 

Find how how much lift the 885s will give with the billies set at 0. I’m not familiar with their springs. 3” will not clear a 33 you will need ucas, cmc and probably trimming some and even a pinch weld flattened. Each truck is different. I have 3” on my prerunner and run a 285/70/17 with jba’s and caster set at 4* I’m fine.

 

And you'll have to do a cab mount chop trim your fenders and hammer the pinch weld to fit 33s

 

The spacer lift I got from supreme suspension that’s on the truck now was a 3” front 2” rear leveling spacer kit. With my billies set at the max setting I’m clearing my 33’s no problem. All I had to do was take off the front mud flaps. Was really hoping I could keep what I have now and just replace my stock springs with the ome 885’s. I think the springs are rated to give 2.5” of lift which is why I thought maybe keeping the spacer would help if I lowered the strut setting to 0. Trying to avoid getting ucas right now since they’re out of my budget. Guess I got some more researching to do‍♂️
