    I think most people that buy a new truck dont think about doing things like that. Just all the overlander mods.

    its the guys that buy the old shitbox picks that do that stuff

    Alright. I’m losing my sanity with this job but I think I have a plan. I put the sending transmission line into the bottom of the trans cooler. And the return line at the top. I’m thinking I’ll attach the thermostat at the end of the transmission hard lines since it’s one of the few spots both lines run parallel to each other.

    Since I don’t have the thermostat yet I’m debating on running the engine a bit to check for leaks. I have way too much ATF Type IV and SLL coolant sitting in boxes anyway.

    Yup. It’s not great but it should be fine. That’s with the bumper further inward than I plan on mounting it.
