I can't imagine how I'd even begin to hook it up to work outside of a Boeing 747. I don't think Boeing will be very keen on sending me a schematic for it.

I added up the cost to get the whole setup including the cable and plumbing tray, the coffee maker, and pot - would be around $400-500. Even then I have no idea what voltage it runs on, what PSI the water inlets need to be, etc. These were plumbed to the freshwater tanks and pressurized system on a 747, it has no internal tank.

It would be cool as hell though to have one in your kitchen.

The sticker on it says high voltage, could be some kind of DC to DC inverter inside that would step up 24v to something else for the heating element.

Yup. 48 degrees out and the transmission won’t even get up over 100 degrees. Tomorrow I’ll sit around and take a break. Maybe contemplate sending one of my R150Fs in as a core to marlin. Then Sunday I’ll install the ARB and thermostat.

 

I didn’t think there was anyway to read trans temp on 1st gens

 

Not until 1999. 1995-1998 trucks did not report transmission temperature via OBDII. 1999-2004 trucks you can program a Scangauge or Ultragauge to read this stat.

Get the Ultragauge, it's better and cheaper

 

You should do what Miguel wanted to do with his truck. He bought four lightbars and was going to do a 360 setup.

 

On the earlier trucks ?later ones too? there is however a sensor for an idiot light

I'm sure someone somewhere replaced that for an actual sensor for a guage
