Yeah I decided to go with the c4 bumper that Alan showed me, so I'm gonna pick up a set of headlights for cheap and try to build em myself. I owe Rich a blacked out headlight now too, so I'm gonna try and pick up a few sets for cheap locally. I appreciate the offer too, I'm gonna have to come and see you to do these spindles and 5100's soon as I get the truck back

U-bolts should be very tight. VERY tight.

Locktite is not needed, but should not hurt anything either.

Oh, and u-bolts are really a one-time use fastener. A lot of people re-use them, but technically they are one time only.

Which sounds like a good excuse for a u-bolt flip...

So I had to create a blog for a group project in one of my marketing classes, and I get extra credit for higher traffic to the site. Can y'all please check it out, scroll through for a few seconds, or even comment if you want. It would really help this struggling college student out. Thank you!

Honest question. What’s the point of welding your spindles? This is GA. No dunes to be jumping.

Don’t get me wrong. Your truck, your money, your choice. Just seems like another ‘mod’ that is more show than anything else for 95% of Tacoma owners.

OK but there better be some hot chick in your group pulling in this fashion shit. Good luck with school

Edit... FYI there maybe a way to say run a script on your computer that may or may not be able to inflate traffic/site visits if it's worth it to your grade. Google is your friend.

I'm actually not getting gusseted ones, but full replacements that add 4" in the front. Just a much better and cheaper option to lift it for now until I can afford quality coilovers one day
The sports part was my compromise lol. I got stuck in the group with 3 other girls, and they all said Fashion :facepalm:Thanks man I'mma look into it rn. We're using google analytics so it even tells me where the other person got directed to the site from too

Ah gotcha. My fault for assuming as you were referencing the resident welder.

Nothing wrong with a spindle lift for a 2wd

So I offically did trade my 08 access cab for a 15 double cab. The truck I wanted was all the way I Birmingham AL. Ive test driven a bunch of trucks including 3rd gens. I feel like the 2.5 gen looks the best and drives the best but my butt, back, and neck are all missing the 08 seat after the drive home. Over all I'm still very excited about the new truck.

It got temporarily better after torquing them down and then the vibration came back later on.
Alan has been helping me troubleshoot a bit more. I have to take it for a drive today to see if what I messed with yesterday will make a difference.
I did order a ubolt flip kit though, so I will have an excuse to redo that part soon anyway!

Question for everyone: Should I get all of my mods completed now, or should I slowly get them added? If slowly then I’m thinking one a month.
