Danke! I drove ambulances for over 15 years, kind of used to driving something this big, except for the fact it's my own truck in my insurance if I fuck it up lol

Those 450s and 4500s park so much easier with the wider front track.

But I will never have consensual sex with any woman I take on a date in one. Might as well just stay home and watch a movie while sitting on a dryer full of shoes

There's an f450 with a flatbed I saw somewhere in Texas, I just gotta find the website again. I was looking at super duties, but I just got smitten with the rams after I drove the 2021s

    Cool.

Did you drive a SD as well?

Out of the big 3, I'm more of a Ford guy and I have owned F350 before many years ago.
I really like my F150screw, wish I could keep it and get a SD too, but I need more towing capacity with the equipment I have, and with 2 boys about to drive I don't want to pay insurance on 5 or 6 cars, lol,
On top of all this nonsense, I did put down a reservation on a Bronco last July, with that configuration it will most likely be a 2022 production, so the Tacoma will most likely sold in the future.

I did, and they were about the same driving feel. But the ram felt more like a luxury truck that does work, than a work truck with a nice interior. The Cummins/Aisin combo with 4.10s feels amazing though, and that I6 sound is hard to beat too

    Yeah they have nice interiors/features.

I want less of luxury of a truck, no leather and XLT trim would be just fine with heated seats.
I'm going back in forth on which axle though, 3.73 or 4.10....

My RV is nearly 21k lbs, and I plan to help move some stuff for a friend on the side. 4.10s were a must for me, especially since I plan to travel to the desert states quasi-regularly. Otherwise under say 18k lbs, and flat terrain, 3.73s would probably be fine, and net a little more fuel mileage.

That said, these trucks can get going way too fucking quickly for how heavy they are and how hard they are to slow down... I'm also partial to the Cummins exhaust brake, it will bark the rear tires on wet streets when it goes full braking.

Yessir, well I got it hot enough to beat with a hammer. Lol. Took some time but I enjoyed it. I bought a forge of ebay, I was a bit skeptical about it but it works damn good. I bought and old craftsman beltgrinder off aomeguy from offer up and a striking anvil from some kid in college station.

    That's awesome
I've always wanted to make my own. How much was the forge? (If you don't me asking)

Spent the day down South and a few hours adding cow panels/fixing a fence, my renters thought it would be cool to just cut the fence to move all his dog kennel panels out of the main yard, never mind the lease cows, these SOB's are some really trashy folks, I think I will go down again soon and relocate the couple sets of bolt cutters that I saw, I'm not stealing them, just playing hiding go seek with them, within their own trash is all.

A little something every chance we get.
Evening folks! Well, it did take the 2 days I set aside for it, thanks to more (non-measurable) rains and drizzles, and FedEx delivery. The first replacement rain barrel arrived yesterday, the second late this afternoon. In between, I did the fence gate when it stopped being wet this morning.

Both old barrels developed a leak in roughly the same place. Silicone RTV, and as seen on TV tape, paste, and can goop didn't solve it. Leaks just expanded around the patch. Anyway old is gone, and here are the new....

And the best news is that someone threw the old barrels I left on the curb departed on a trailer this evening just before I started cooking!

So, the hard work part of the project was behind the back fence, where they dug out for the gate was both not low enough, and starting to weed. Mr. Tiller to the rescue!

    20210206_163042.jpg

If you don't think Mr. Tiller is a tough little SOB, all of the "dark colored" rocks were pulled out of that area. Several, I had to hammer out of the tillers grip! Didn't faze it.

And that's the way it is! Going to crock pot up some Super Chili tomorrow, and Super Joes for Mikkel, then enjoy the game. Hope you had a great Saturday!

Haha. I got the whole family watching it. Lol. I think I it was 200. I went with the devilforge. It's a pretty solid piece of equipment. The only thing I really need is a bandsaw.

I've been looking at them (yeeessss because of that show xD) and seen a few that look practical; how quick does it go through the gas?

Don't start watching American Ninja Warrior if you aren't already...

Thank you sir, and made dinner too! Was hoping to match the rain barrel at the shed, but they are discontinued.

If you wear glasses or are sick of your sunglasses fogging up with a mask on, try this -

    CatCrap!
It works great for scuba masks and ski goggles and it's been doing wonders with sunglasses.
