TPMS Displaying wrong sides on Kenwood

Hey Guys,

I had(well still have) 2 flat tires this morning and i noticed my Kenwood is showing the tires are in the other side of my truck. So my drivers side tires are flat and my passenger side is whats displayed on the head unit. Is this a Metra problem, or maybe a configuration issue in the Kenwood? Not the end of the world but it would be nice to be accurate.

There is a setup procedure, I think inside the stereo that involves deflating and inflating your tires so you can get them displayed in the correct positions.

I haven’t bothered since I have my tires rotated and this is something I’d rather not do more than once.

 

Hm i would think the location would be tied to the harness and not the sensor. Interesting

 

The sensors have ID numbers, and their connection to the vehicle is wireless so there's no way of knowing where they are unless you assign them. Same would apply for the factory pressure display if it shows all 4 tires instead of a single warning light.
