That would be the complete opposite of what I actually need though lol. Go from having issues with space in an xtra cab to getting a reg cab

    Buy regular cab.

Remove some mods to install on the regular cab.

Sell extended cab via the tried and true method "N0 LOWBALLERZ I KNO WUT I G0T"

    Buy wife a minivan.

    Everyone wins.

Your snorkel adds maybe $5k give or take to the Overland community book value.

Leave the RTT and bed rack on = profit

Do it... that's the kinda bravdo I miss having as a youth! Bolts don't line up? Fuck it, drill holes that make it work!

As you get older, you don't bounce back from injuries as quickly/easily as you do as a youth. Plus you see your buddies fuck shit up royally (or you do it yourself) and you learn "huh I really shouldn't have done that"
"that turned into not a good thing"

    Someone my age wouldn't do it, putting a locking 8 3rd into a 8.4 housing. But you're G D right i would've done it at 19

Well... 4 runners have an 8" standard

It's just cutting out a 1x3 inch piece of the housing and relocating 2 studs

    The template being a gasket

Well sounds like less structural integrity compromised than I thought, I never actually looked at the 2 well enough to know

I once took a 2 stroke motor off a kids Suzuki RM80, then I attached it to a live axle from a kids quad. Then I put that on a razor scooter for a makeshift frame/steering front wheel setup. Dump the clutch on that ficker and it would only do wheelies

Surprised I never broke my neck on that thing
