    Hi fellas,

Another fellow Taco fanatic here. It seems to be quite difficult nabbing a set of bolt on sliders around here. All of them are from the states and exchange rate/shipping fees are killer right now. Just wondering how many guys would be interested in sliders, locally. There may be some projects in the works in the near future :goingcrazy:.

Yep happened to me...I asked if they could send me something comparable with free shipping. Said they had nothing like it.
I too bought other stuff to total over 50 bucks to get free shipping...

Ha! A solid 1 cm on the ground in Sunny Southern Ontario - maybe it's all the hot air from Stelco & Dofasco that keeps the snow from accumulating in Hamilton ?:lalala:

Looking for recommendation on an alignment. My suspension is bone stock, so nothing too crazy needed, just want to eliminate the “pull” and “wandering” feeling.

Last week I serviced the brakes, and my tire pressures are spot on.

I’ve got an appointment at Hallmark Toyota this coming Tuesday, but I’d rather hit up a shop that cares to do a good job, rather than just paying The Man.

Just make sure to check your cams before and after. If they fuck your alignment cams because shit is seized you may get some money. Or some parts.

Cams and tabs are looking good, and were adjusted back in December. My spec sheet printout looks great (all green), and truck drives decent under 100km/h (which is all I’ve done since Dec). Last two weeks I’ve travelled the 401, and Over 100 and she’s a bit of a handful, thought maybe it was gusting wind, but a couple trips have me thinking alignment can be improved.

Based on my experience, it's as good as you can get. Just to be sure, get any shop to do the toe and that's it...:anonymous:

Any recommendations on numbers for alignment? ie: toe in a couple degrees or out? I had one done in December that is "in spec" and my truck turns left with no side wind at 80k. I've rotated tires and it does it with my snows, summer tires and my new wranglers. Alignment shop says it's all good.

That’s essentially where I am at. I changed the tie rods and haven’t been for an alignment since I’m going to redoing the front end once the weather is nicer (shocks, uca, new lowers, limit straps).
Trucks not driven much so all is good.

For tires and lift I have, I have been happy with 0 toe, 0 camber, and as much caster as possible to move the wheel forward (not sure if that’s a - or + of the top of my head).

I'm going to do the ecgs bearing next weekend and put my 5100s in at the same time. I'm just looking for a number to give them so I dont have to fight the steering all the time
