What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Finished up my 'small' lift this afternoon which consisted of having a shop install the OME 883 coils and myself adding the rear Headstrong 3-leaf AAL (removed overload leaf in process):

Before - OEM Suspension on Bilstein shocks, fronts set at .85"

FD - 20.75"
FP - 21"
RD - 21.75"
RP - 22"



After - OME 883 coils up front and headstrong 3-leaf progressive AAL in rear with Bilsteins on all four corners (front set back to 0")

FD - 20.5"
FP - 20.5"
RD - 23"
RP - 23.5"



I would give my measurements a +/- .5"

So, with that said it looks like the 883's on bottom notch kept the front roughly the same height as the OEM coils set at the first notch. The HS AAL is pretty accurate at 1.5"-ish with the overload leaf removed. I'll be honest I thought the 883's would provide a smidgen more lift up front but that's okay.

My goal with this lift is to be able to run a shell and have the truck still sit level but with like the smallest achievable lift possible. Although I don't have a shell yet I think I accomplished that so I am happy.

 

Had the day off today so I washed the truck and did a BHLM to the spare set.

 

I got this utility/trash bag for my tailgate..meant for a spare tire mount but this works just fine.

 

What ditch light brackets are you using? Do you have any interference wit h the snorkel?

I just finished up some routine maintenance for the first time on the newer truck (other than oil changes).

Rear diff and manual transmission fluid change. Oil looked pretty clean actually.

Front diff and transfer case in the next few days.

Its a 2015 that I've had almost 1.5 years. 82,000 miles

Took it out for a spray off and took some pavement pictures should have gotten some before shots but you could hardly tell the color of the truck because of all the mud on it

No but I'm getting my CMC done next weekend, so I'm going to get an extractor kit to get it out at the same time. It's a good thing to have anyway.

 

What headlights are those? Sharp build, love the pelican cases.

Installed a ton stuff mrrs from @Crikeymike total chaos lowers timbren bump stops out tie rod ends sway bar end links and bushings new cam bolts

 

Went out with a few local TWers on a trail ride outside of Albuquerque and got a little flexy.

 

Just be careful, my friend did this with his frontier and it rubbed the clearcoat off after a few weeks off bouncing around and shifting a bit.

 

Wish mine came with it. It's about 1500 to get it installed around here. Or 800 for the covers and do it myself. Would you pay 1500 for it?

 

No clue what the install entails, but I’d probably just pay for the install. It’s so worth it, way better than clazzios or any other covers.

 

1. It all started from noticing my trans leaking thought it was the plugs but it was coming from the top. Shifter got loose. Then ended up almost rewiring my whole truck lol. But shifter feels way better again, way easier to find gears!

 

Truck looks sick. The only thing missing is a .50 cal mounted on the top. I've got a set of S2's ordered too, can't wait to put them on.

 

Replaced my clock spring, upgraded to diode dynamics flasher relay for one- touch turn signals and strobing hazards and replaced my shift knob. Also started adding USB outlets into the center console but ran out of time (and wire)

 

If I had one to mount up there I'd be all for it.
